Although Roxanne was in the early stages of establishing herself as a contemporary artist, she began studies with Eric Minchin, founder of the Brushmen of the Bush not long after arriving in Broken Hill. By 1980 she had resigned from her position to become a full time artist. Her love of modern art gradually melded with Eric’s more traditional style and Roxanne’s unique and distinctive art has been a result.
