Kym Hart
Kym Robert Laurence HART, son of Pro Hart was born October 1963. Kym paints mostly in oils but he also uses guauche, watercolours, etching, monotypes and block printing. Preferring to paint on-site, he belongs to what some call the 'plein air school of painting' as "you see colours you could never mix if you were just sitting in the studio or painting from a photograph" he says.
Kym has travelled widely both within Australia and overseas and has painted in a number of countries including Egypt, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Hawaii but believes the landscape around his home town of Broken Hill provides the most inspiration as it is alive with history and vivid colours.
